Epiphany

The other day, I went to Ace Hardware Store down the street. Prince sent me to grab a couple things. I could barely understand what it was or what it was for... but I went anyway. Not knowing what I was looking for, I asked the gentleman at the front for help. I gave him the list of things that I needed and he took me directly to them. Again, not knowing exactly what Prince needed, I went for the cheapest I could find. The last product on the list was a Battery Terminal (and I only know this because I just asked him what it was about 30 seconds ago) for a car battery. The gentleman, not knowing what I needed it for, saw my lack of intelegence on the products and asked if I needed help with my car.
My reply is the reason I am telling you this story... It came without thought.
"No, thank you. My husband is using them for a project at home." I am glad, now, that the gentleman took that as his leave and went back to work because I was stunned. I had just called Prince my husband. We are not yet to that point, but that moment... well, the best word to explain the next 10 minutes was one big Epiphany. I realized that I was starting to get that comfort back and I was now looking forward to the future. Prince has now gained the title of Potential, and my subconscious has just jumped ahead of my mouth to get my attention. The next step is for Dove to gain the title of Potential and we will be Home Free.
