When Prince and I First Met

A friend of mine (lets call him Kal) had just recently moved to a different city, so I decided to come check out his new place. Roughly about 20 minutes away from my house if you speed... I decided that I was going to drink a little so I planned on staying on Kal's couch that night. Well, he wanted to introduce me to his neighbors. Of course, being as nice as I was, I wasn't about to say no. So I followed. We walked into a house with two dogs bombarding me and Kal until the woman on the couch called them back. A quick introduction to her and we went downstairs. The steps were steep and we had to duck under the first floor. Kal stood between me and this new man sitting in an odd looking chair with no backing. I peeked around Kal to meet a man who was also leaning around Kal to find out who was in his home. Apparently, there was no warning of my arrival.
Kal had warned me about this man. According to Kal and society, this man was a pervert, but the good kind of pervert. The kind that wouldn't hurt you. He didn't have any secrets, and he spoke his mind. Another word that Kal used was 'ass'. This new man was an ass. Which is an accurate description but only if you can learn to know him first.
There was a quick introduction to Prince and I soon found out why they called him an ass. He is honest. Some people say there isn't such a thing as too honest, but if you ever have the honor of meeting Prince, you will know what too honest is. That is one of the things that attracted me to him.
Later that night, I felt more comfortable at Prince's house on his couch rather then at Kal's house. Come to find out that Kal wanted me to sleep in his queen size bed rather then on his couch. There was a fight and I just drove home, rather then dealing with his BS. (Not to worry; it had been a while since my last drink, nothing was blurry, I wasn't slurring, and I walked in a fine strait line). Turns out, that this was the first fight with Kal of many to come.
Over the next couple of days, I decided to contact Prince via Facebook. Best decision of my life. Our conversation started slow, then got more intricate. And eventually, I decided to come back to his house and say hello!

How I met SnowDove, though, wasn't quite as exciting, as it was scary. Above, I mentioned a woman on the couch as I walked into Princes house. That was SnowDove. That wasn't much of a meeting... But I met her again on Facebook, almost a week after I started talking to her husband. I was terrified to start talking to her... Talking to the wife of the man I had been minorly flirting with... Talk about feeling awkward. But she seemed nice enough according to what Prince said about her. So I figured, why the hell not. And from our conversations over Messenger on Facebook, she proved to be sweetheart. I was I instantly taken with her.
